Every year 3 million girls suffer female genital mutilation. With 200 million around the world at risk of being cut, Naimah Hassan reveals how brave campaigners are using the power of the media to change views of the practice, and why she hopes an end to FGM is possible.

Naimah Hassan is a founding member and programme director of the Global Media Campaign, a non-profit organisation that uses media to create self-sustaining action to ending violence against women and girls.
